Home | Work | Wherever you are

You want to feel confident about your finances. You want to find someone you can trust. You want to find someone who will talk to you about your options without judgement or jargon. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get that advice from work or home?

Better still, what if she was a woman?

What is the process?

The first stage is to have a brief phone conversation with Rhiannon. This is an opportunity her to understand a little about where you are at and what you feel you need from your session. This also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you have about how the service works.

We then schedule an appointment time that is convenient to you. These appointments take place over Skype or phone so you can be anywhere convenient to you that has phone or internet access.

We invite you to complete a client questionnaire prior to the appointment. This questionnaire should not be too intimidating. It is an opportunity for you to get a better picture of where you are at financially, where you would like to get to and what questions and concerns you would most like to focus on.

Your 90 minute appointment can be structured in a variety of ways to suit you. You may choose to do a financial health check to hightlight the strengths and potential gaps in your financial affairs or explore one or two areas of your financial situation in more depth to understand the pros and cons of different strategies and highlight options you may have not considered.

Following your appointment Rhiannon will email you a summary of the appointment for your easy reference.

You can book in additional sessions as you need them immediately or down the track. Whenever you are ready.

Finance Women was designed to address the specific challenges that women face when seeking trusted financial advice. The service is designed to be open, inclusive and empowering for our clients. While we designed the service with women in mind, we warmly welcome male clients whether they use our services as part of a couple, as a support person or as a client in their own right.

Who Do We Help?

We help women every day who are starting out, starting a new chapter or starting to get their heads around their finances. Our clients range from those who consider themselves complete novices and want to get a better understanding of the basics, to those who deal regularly with very complex financial arrangements, but who want the reassurance of a specialist professional as a sounding board.

Our youngest clients are in their twenties, looking at setting up good budgeting, debt and super habits to give them the best start as they enter the workforce.

Our more mature clients are often looking for assistance with setting up and managing income in retirement, managing investment portfolios or maximising Centrelink entitlements.

And of course there are all the women in between who are looking for help with managing debts, dealing with divorce, budgeting, planning for retirement, setting up a business, building their financial security, starting and managing an investment portfolio and all the myriad of financial choices we are faced with on a daily basis.

In their professional lives our clients are nurses and teachers, consultants and executives, engineers and IT professionals, HR officers and marketers, community workers and doctors, academics and administrators, bankers and finance professionals, musicians and authors, home-makers and carers, students, retirees and those on career breaks.

They are married, single, coupled, divorced, widowed, re-partnered and ‘it’s complicated’.They live in the inner city, in the suburbs, in rural and regional Australia or as expats across the globe .

You can’t put our clients in a single box, but what they share is a desire to get down-to-earth financial advice, to support them to make the best financial decisions for themselves.

What Does It Cost For A Financial Coaching Session?

Providing you with education, guidance, a sounding board and confidence that you will know you are on the right track.

This also gives you the opportunity to start to build a relationship with a qualified financial adviser, who is available to help you with specific financial advice when you need it down the track.

If you need additional specific advice on a particular area or a comprehensive financial plan your adviser can discuss the options with you.
